Driving Stress, Anxiety, and Worry - A Better Way to Cope

Better Driver Training's Chris Bensted has been working with Marmalade  providers of young driver insurance discussing ways to deal with the stress and potential anxiety of driving and the driving test.

Chris in a Driving Instructor and co-founder of Better Driver Training and Better ADIs. With a keen interest in psychology and cognitive strategies, he has studied hypnosis and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and uses a variety of techniques and strategies to help people succeed and become confident drivers.

"People forget how stressful driving can be, most of us enjoy our protective bubbles and get happily from A-Z but others find it a far more daunting prospect. As for the TEST! everyone I meet remembers theirs and wants to share the story. Driving Instructors have a number of roles in addressing this - Teaching physical skills Teaching coping strategies and Supporting the individual in reaching their goals."
