My driving teacher was Anthony O'Dolan Driving Instructor and I cannot recommend him highly enough! As a nervous person, I was initially apprehensive about learning to drive, but Anthony was so calming and reassuring that my nerves quickly dissipated.
Anthony's approach to teaching is both thorough and patient, and I never felt rushed or pressured. He took the time to explain everything clearly and answered any questions I had, no matter how small.
Thanks to Anthony's guidance, I passed my driving test on the first try with almost no mistakes. I couldn't have done it without his expert instruction and support.
Overall, I would highly recommend Anthony and Better Driver School to anyone looking to learn to drive, regardless of their level of experience or confidence. Thank you so much for everything!read more

I say Better Driving... are actually Best !!!
And the instructor Michelle Gregory is really helpful she helped me focus on days before test and made sure I was not over prepared and prep me well to face the test and keep my focus and calm while driving.

recommendsI started learning with Chris in October 2019 after having lessons in a manual on and off since 2016 with two separate... driving instructors from different driving schools. By the time I saw Chris I'd pretty much decided to switch to automatic, I'd lost all confidence in ever passing a test (not that I'd taken one) as driving made me feel so nervous. I'd passed my theory test in the summer of 2018 and since I work full time and have two young children I just didn't think I'd pass before my theory ran out, or ever for that matter, as driving just didn't come naturally to me.
As soon as I had my first lesson with Chris I instantly felt at ease and even began to enjoy having driving lessons. Chris is a fantastic teacher and clearly very passionate about his job. I really liked his laid back way of teaching and he has a wealth of knowledge spanning a huge variety of topics, so we always had something interesting to talk about. That being said, he was mindful that I sometimes had to block him out so I could concentrate! One thing I particularly appreciated is that Chris doesn't believe in practising test routes as he would rather make sure you can drive anywhere and this makes so much more sense. Every lesson was different and I felt like this gave me a but better feel for driving in everyday conditions and has ultimately given me much more confidence as a driver. We did spend some time looking at some particularly difficult areas in test areas just to make sure that I was comfortable, but it certainly wasn't the repetitive action that I'd experienced with my previous instructor.
I'm so pleased that I've now passed my test and so thankful to Chris for all his help and patience. If I could do one thing differently, it would've been to start having lessons with Chris from the beginning, instead of wasting hundreds of pounds on previous instructors! Would definitely recommend Chris and the team at Better Driver Training to anyone 😊read more
